Alien abduction stories sound more like childhood or even adult sexual abuse stories. What's more likely, people being abducted by an extra terrestrial species or they are creating a metaphor for the abuse because it's easier to accept that aliens are hurting me than it would be that someone I love or trust has abused me. There is also a lot of potential the therapist leads the clients into these narratives unintentionally (maybe intentionally) as well, especially when practicing hypnosis. All alien evidence is just anecdotal. All alien abduction stories should probably be reviewed as childhood sexual abuse stories as well.
