The end was Deep!!, "Your no longer a crutch", so I can trust you
Honestly after seeing this interview, I REALLY WANT TO SEE Guy's new movie.
So true about movie brands destroying the movie business. At first I used to think it was simply comic book movies, but looking at the box office numbers and now hearing Guy, brands are the real culprit. We will probably see adaptations of all past Disney films now ever since Beauty and the Beast murdered the box office.
Because of this, movies like "Snatch" could never break through in this day and age. In fact movies like Snatch wouldn't even be movies today, likely it would be some iteration of a netflix show, or fx tv series.
Which isn't a bad thing, would be more in depth and such but still, it is sad that the movie business is basically dead.
I can't remember the last movie I paid to watch in a theater. A decade from now I doubt they'll be any movies playing other than big branded high budget generic crap.
