If there is no necessity to you or your family in terms of survival… then there is no need to kill the animal is how I see it. If you live off the land, hunt, then live off the meat that's one thing. But to kill an animal just to get your rocks off and for a cool story to tell your hunting buddies seems like bullshit. Doesn't seem like that hard of a concept to me.
Meat is meat. Go hungry and you would be amazed what you would eat.
Personally I don't agree with how they hunt bears not so much killing them. Same with mountain lions
