I've listened to plenty of JBP so don't believe this to be a strawman I have of him. I realize he is quite intelligent.
If there's anyone JBP is bigoted against, it's atheists. (Atheists are among the most suspected groups; according to polls people would vote for a Muslim for US President over an atheist.) He believes that people like Sam Harris and myself are not "really atheists" because "real atheists" are like the villainous murderous nihilistic protagonist of a Dostoevsky novel, JBP's words not mine. JBP cannot intellectually fathom anyone living a good moral life as an atheist. The fallacy here is the false equivalence of religion and morality. The irony is JBP, ever vaguely-worded JBP, when put on the spot (by a skilled interviewer/moderator, which doesn't happen very often), cannot force himself to even declare his faith in Christianity himself.
Here is my evidence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmrpiCsuv6w&list=PLkcIPV7s4KSBe8iCczxI0GwLhyOa1O2TN&index=8&t=0s
The only thing i could think of that i think jordan peterson is wrong on is his view on religion and what it means to be religious.
That's the problem. People don't judge peoples ideas or behaviors, they hate the entire person. One idea doesn't define a entire human being.
