  1. There was a history Channel special back in 2009 "The Real Wolfman". Where the team went to the Natural History museum vault and examined the taxidermist remains of the Beast of Gevaudan. And the data came back it was a Hyena. Many people don't realize Hyenas are feline not cannid.

  2. The color (orange with black stripes, face like a pig,) the way it catches it prey (grabbing the neck), they said it stands on two legs (tigers can do that to push prey down.) sounds like a tiger to me.
