I learned a few things from your show, but sometimes you are just dumb with topics like this. Humans developed more advanced brains through complex social interactions like speaking languages, developing mathematics, etc.
You guys think hunting is the right way for humans to eat animals? How long until animals go extinct if a hundred million people started killing wildlife daily? That's why animal agriculture exist! I seriously don't know how you guys can be so stupid to think we can produce meat for global demand without destroying the planet? It's really basic mathematics. Species started to go extinct as soon as we started hunting.
Veganism is nothing more than propaganda by the 6 agricultural chemical companies to get more people buying vegetables. Agriculture is the biggest threat to our enviroment. Get rid of vegetable farming, take live stock out of those terrible factory farms, and place them on all that land. Grass will grow, healthy soil will return green pastures will be abundant. The environment will be saved and people can eat what we were meant to eat, in a humane way. Everyone is happy and healthy. If veganisim takes hold… this planet is fucked.
I don't think going vegetarian/vegan is the solution. Let's be frank, no one will stop eating meat. But we never ate meat in the past the way we eat it now. I remember only have Friday night dinner and the rest of the week was vegetarian. Now that you have people demanding meat 7/24/365 and the system has to change to accommodate that need. The waste of land and resources to raise animals is extreme. Beyond cruelty, those animals are sick, filthy, and genetically deformed. They are now bred to such extremes that the antibiotics aren't meant to kill bacteria, it's there because the animals have no immune systems. Then they kill them and you EAT that! That's disgusting. The system needs to be reworked but no one has a good system developed for that.
