I only get 4/5 5 hour's and have done most of my life amd feel fine most of the time!!
I do 12hr shift work overnight. There r ppl that cannot stay awake period. But all these supposed rules abt how much sleep u need and dreams etc only apply over the long term in my experience. That sleep gene is just irrelevant doc speak. Who cares or better yet how would u know u have it?? U can skip 7-9hrs u just can’t do it habitually every night. Your body gets what it needs eventually u don’t have a choice.
What about little naps in between day but not continuous 6-7 hrs
