I just smoked a whole American spirit cigarette watching this before mike took a drag.
I love and respect Killer Mike but his new series is bit of a contradiction. I feel the experiment, however, he should have started with the director and camera man for this Netflix series. He should have made sure he or she is black. Is like a black man/woman speaking loud and being pro black but going home to a white woman/man with biracial kids. That contradicts everything that just came out of his/her mouth. Mike should have told Netflix, "Yo find me a black director and black cinematographer for this series like Beyonce did when she made Vogue Magazine use Tyler Mitchell (a black photographer) to shoot her spread. That speaks volume in itself. Nonetheless, I respect Mike and his grind as an activist. Next time Mike, use a black crew brethren.
Its terrible…stop it.
