What Bret Weinstein is saying about grading is so important. I struggled the most in university, not because I was bad, I was really good, but I was extremely stressed out for everything coming down to "you need to pass enough credits or you're in really deep trouble". When you work your year with that guillotine over your head all the time, you really underperform. You don't do anything extra, you don't seek your limits or strive to do the work as well as you can. You are just trying to pass as much as you can.
In the end the bitcoin deal kinda got ruined by all the predators or fools getting in the market and oversaturating it from the moment it was possible with currencies worth nothing, everybody had to have their own bitcoin type. And meanwhile a regular person had zero fucking idea how to get or interact with bitcoin. And bitcoin mining was incredibly wasteful and even hindered some genuine needs for gpu supply.
