I always wonder what would happen if we really put Buakaw and Saenchai in the same ring in a real fight. I would guess a draw. They are both warriors and from what I see, best of friends too. 😂
For Joe asking why MT isn't more popular, it's mostly due to how it's interconnected to the entire culture of Thailand, and they don't like opening it up to the world. They have their own tournaments, which for other sports would mean that if you win, you'd go and compete with other winners around the world, but not here. You win in Thailand, that's it, you're the best, you're waiting for a new season.
