Good thing I'll be dead in 400 years
For anyone scrolling through the comments, ignore the George Carlin quoters and tedious prophets of doom. The only thing any of us have ever been able to do as humans, is to try our best in the present moment.
I think some people feel a sense of release with the "humanity was doomed from the start/ 400 years? More like 4!" comments. The reality is that they achieve nothing, except perhaps frightening readers, especially younger readers.
The outlook is dire, but change is possible and it many places is underway. It will be hard, people will die. That is the lot of our generation, so it is our duty to be strong. I am 21 years old and not naive about the future. Fighting, even if the cause seems lost, is better than surrender when surrender means certain death. A civilization grows great when men plant trees beneath who's shade they know they shall never sit. Nobody planted those trees for us, but plenty died in war and struggle doing what they believed was right.
It serves no purpose to blame former and older generations. What's done is done. It serves no purpose to give up. There is no more passing the buck. We fight or we die and the only moment to live is now. So I advise anyone scrolling through foreboding comments and feeling bad about the world, to shut off your phone/laptop and get on with living your life 🙂
Much less than 400 years you morons, we are in the last days right now. Celebrities and musicians think they know wtf is going on but without including God, you have no fucking idea what's going on.
Imagine how fucking stupid people will be in 400 years.
