I've eaten at that very same Peter Lugers in Brooklyn. When I called to make a reservation there was a 6-week wait and I took it without hesitation.
The 28 day, dry-aged steaks were absolutely delicious. Supermarket steaks can't even come close in comparison. The side dishes were good too.
Unless the whole kitchen staff quit and they're training a whole new crew, I doubt its quality has dropped to less than 1 star. I would not hesitate to go back.
