  1. Pulling troops out of an area will always have some sort of negative effect. Does that mean we are supposed to leave garrisons all over the world? At some point these countries are gonna have to do something on their own ends to make their countries better. People in America and other countries always bitch about how many bases we have all over the world, how we're imperialistic, how we love war, yadda yadda yadda but then as soon as we try and pull troops out of an area those same people are like "WHOA WTF YOU CAN'T JUST PULL TROOPS OUT." Fucking pick a position and stick to it. Don't complain about the US military occupying a bunch of countries and then complain AGAIN when we try and pull them out. It's fucking annoying.

  2. This was super informative/ helpful in understanding where/ why Tulsi is coming from. Makes a lot of sense and respect where she's coming from. Think she has a hard time getting this message across, and saying "regime change wars" is not really connecting/ it seems so ethereal. But the thought that "hey, we're not going into an interventionist war without a gameplan which is shown to the American people and hich has been vetted by the right people (think Bernie)."

Might still be a lot of smoke and mirrors by the powers that be, but the capital gain made by those like Halliburton etc. need to be regulated/ focused on because profit to independent corporations/ private citizens who hold their own well being over the US's interests can lead to really unfortunate (and more importantly, entirely avoidable) global events which can cause a lot of human pain to unintended victims.
