Krystal is absolutely correct. All the things she said were exactly what needed to be done BEFORE all this went down. Unfortunately, due to a long, disgusting list of abject failures leading up to that point, everything was beyond the point where her methods would have worked. The violent response of the police and government is 100% what escalated everything up to that point, and unfortunately there's not much you can do to pull back from that kind of insanity once it breaks out except to apply more force.
