Honestly, you have to wonder what the studio was thinking when they let this guy go in 95. Tbh, I always thought Keaton could have been the new jack. Nicholson. His range is huge. 30+ years later, and still the best batman. That the studio has came back to him speaks volumes. Keaton doesn't make shit. He was the only one who got it. Bruce Wayne is batman's mask, not vice versa. Keaton probably one of the most underrated actors in history.

All I can say is that I saw Batman when I was about 10 in 1989 and he was my generation’s Batman growing up like Christopher Reeve was Superman. Michael Keaton is the greatest to me and it was dark and gloomy typical to Tim Burton’s style of directing. It was and still is a masterpiece of a film.
