Both of you are reaching people that normally wouldn't attend a solid Biblical Church and I'm afraid these days a great number of Churches have directed their focus along the line of the "businesses" of their various "ministries" and solid teaching is secondary. A good book to read (and there are so many) , is "Biblical Theology" by Geerhardus Vos, a brilliant German/Dutch Theologian from the turn of the last century. He taught a Princeton in the late 1800's.
