It was a marketing strategy. I still remeber it like it was yesterday. The amount of shares on Social Media was insane. Everyone is sharing and laughing at Elon. But the reality is that all this was a free promotion to his new Cybertruck.

you cannot discount tech that hasn't been invented/found yet.. a more reasonable answer would have been, "maybe in the future if they figure out how to improve xyz"

It's easy man, it developed micro fractures and it just sucked that the time it broke just happened to be when Elon was showing it in front of the world
He seemed to fault on the glass production explanation, as someone whos worked in auto glass manufacturing for going on 8 years, he’s absolutely correct. Trial glass exactly that, trialing the product. After mass production begins you’ve worked out all the issues and now have your best product possible.
