This is nonsense, Marx actually said, "From each, according to his abilitues; to each ACCORDING TO HIS NEEDS!" The problem is that "NEEDS" is ill-defined, & could just as well include motivation as part of the needs. It is also not the cornerstone of Marxism, which is about who controls production. Most inventors today, work in R&D and are motivated by kudos & adequate funding. I have no objection to the planet's multi-millionaires, it's the power & control they have over the rest of us.
