My father is Afghanian from Kabul. We dont live their now(for over 30 years). The reason taliban did it so easy is that they said to the wery poor and sad people that they come in peace. They want to stop coruption(Afghanistan had an insane criminal high and coroption),they said they wanted peace,they also did not hurt people,they said to everyone that they will make the country be in peace again. So people said of course. Taliban also had alot of weapons they did not use to force people. They said women and everyone can go back to work/school in peace.To understand why taliban went to the rise so fast you have to understand how bad the country was from before. People was/is desperate and will listen to anyone that give them some hope of a good future. Taliban has a strict rule againt stealing cause the country was belivred of it.
North Korea has nukes. That's why the US is hands off with it. No wonder Iran would like nukes. It keeps the US away, guaranteed.
And the US only invades for self interest and flexing its muscles. Its a very aggressive country so it can't help itself and it's run by the MIC. I read somewhere it has been involved in war in one form or another for nearly every single year it's been in existence. I think Jimmy Carter said that.
And then it tells it's own people it's to spread democracy and women's rights. And what is staggering is that those voters seem to buy that story.
China generally doesn't invade other nations. Only interferes in what it considers to be areas that are China itself. That is Tibet, Xinjiang, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Not saying that's good but it doesn't invade other sovereign nations.
And really? You don't know why China is interested in Afghanistan? China wants to trade not invade. It wants minerals, not opium. It wants to do business not "spread democracy". Also China is in that region. It's affected by Afghanistan's politics and instability including terrorism. The Russians are also on the doorstep and worried by terrorism.
The US is on the other side of the world but as it can't hep itself it butts in everywhere it can.
