you want to get homeless people to move? legalize drugs so they don't have to be where the drugs are sold. you want them out of your cities? don't put all your aid programs smack dab in down town… no one is gonna ride a bus for 2 hours just to get a freaking peanut butter and jelly sandwich. you wanna solve all this it needs to be a one stop shop for drug maintenance, counseling, housing and work programs. but i know better and so dose everyone else. the people in charge benefit from this fiasco. i would be surprised if cartels don't lobby to keep this bs going, they certainly have the influence.
Homelessness needs to be addressed on an individual basis specific to each person's needs. The harsh reality of this issue though is homelessness isn't something you can "fix" for someone. You can support them, but in the end it's really up to themselves to improve their situations. It's also important that these approaches are carried out at least partially on THEIR terms.
This also means coming to terms with some uncomfortable truths.
Homelessness isn't something you can just throw a bunch of money at or expect the government to fix everything immediately. It takes time and proper effort.
There will also be cases of people who simply can't be helped.
These people think they have the answer wrong. The rents are to HIGH jerk off. Shelters are no different than prison. The homeless are poor they have no money. God bless the homeless
drug use only harms the user
so it's a personal problem
give the homeless a room
that would solve the homeless part of their problem
in a free country we shouldn't force people into rehab
that's not a free country
give them a room
let them decide when they will go to rehab
