Coffee shops essential …ice cream shop essential …liquor store essential …golf courses essential…. but a retail boutique that sells clothes and gets 1-2 people at most at a time not essential or safe to walk into… Walmart and Costco full of customers walking around near each other is ok… parks now open but beach boardwalks closed… nothing is logical or fair
In Michigan, the last frost date is like the 3rd week in May. You’re not planting until then. Seedlings should have been started in early March anyways. There was nothing wrong with cutting out that non-essential at that time. It has since reopened anyways. And no one was stopping you from getting seeds shipped to your front door through Amazon or something. It was a nonsense right wing argument.
