“And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people.”—Rev. 14:6. Jesus prophesied that his true followers would declare the “good news of [God’s] Kingdom” throughout the earth before the end would come. (Matthew 24:14) "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come" Matthew 24:14 talks about the end following the preaching of this good news world wide. What is the good news and who preaches it? It's not just the angels and it is not the inhabited earth or the nations. The angels declaring the good news would be using Christ footstep followers to declare this message however the good news is not the only message as Matthew 24:14 sates about the end. These angels also announce a series of woes for those who reject God’s Kingdom. And the message is likened to “hail and fire,” revealing God’s judgments on the various elements of Satan’s wicked world. (Rev. 8:7, 13) People need to know that the end is near so that they can make drastic changes in their lives and survive. (Zeph. 2:2, 3) People hate the truth and while the good news is a pleasant message for the messengers and the hearers the end for most is not palatable. Declaring the end times calls for courage on the part of those making the announcement. There will be a great tribulation and the final judgment message will become like large hail stones. (Revelation 16:21) "Then great hailstones, each about the weight of a talent, fell from heaven on the people, and the people blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, for the plague was unusually great".
