The reason why people were mad is because he mislead them into thinking he was vaccinated. In this he said he would have elaborate if he was pressed in being immunized. What he left out was after he said he was immunized is that he also stated he wouldn't judge others that did not want to get vaccinated. This implies that he is not one of the people that did not want to get the vaccine. SO he misled people about this and did not follow the protocol for those that did not get the vaccine (wearing a mask, not joining large groups in a confined space,etc.) like Derek Carr did. He was too much of a coward to come out and say he did not want the vaccine& did not want to follow the protocols. This would have not been such a huge story if he just was honest about the whole thing.
