Wow. I thought you would put two and two together and ask why Simon Peter is looked upon by the Catholic church as its founder. Simon Peter, Simon Magus? One was a true apostle of God who was never in Rome. The other we never hear about again but some believe his Babylonian mystery religion he practiced is still alive to this day, under the auspices of the Roman Catholic church. He asked for Peter to intercede for him. What was the role of the Roman Catholic priests?
