There are so many problems and proofs that the gap theory is false. But, a quick way is to read Gen. 1:3, the verse AFTER the supposed destruction of the earh between v. 1-2. God says, "Let there be light. And there was light . . . ." There was no light on earth prior to v. 3, no day and night as God is naming light "day" and dark "night" in v. 3 AFTER v. 1. Also, there was no land til day 3. So, who was living on earth when 1) there was no light, 2) no days or nights, and 3) no land?
Zen I really appreciate your reading these rare books, but you do not rightly divide the word. Paul was the apostal to the church. Jesus taught the Kingdom. The Kingdom will end after the last 7 years. When the jews rejected Jesus. Paul taught the rapture. Jesus taught the 2nd coming. Read the Paul books and look at who he is preaching to the uncircumcised. Jesus was to the circumcised. Sorry Zen but you are absolutely wrong about the rapture. There is absolutely a rapture. Paul taught it. The Paul books are for the uncircumcised the church. Jesus taught the Kingdom and to the circumcised. Reread the bible. Although it is not a salvation issue. I feel as though you speaking condemnation to those who read the bible literally as it is written and believe in the catching away. The catching away and the 2nd coming are two different events.
