I think you Americans should just implement a firearms safety course/license you must and pay forbefore you can purchase a gun ,if you want a handgun its an additional course.We also have a waiting period of approximately 3 months while your appliaction to get your gun license is processed and you are checked. Spouses and one other person must be aware and sign/witness the application form . There is probably a few other things neccesary but in the end after a few things were completed i can buy a gun and so could any American but the chance of you spontanously buyig a gun for the first time wont happen.
People keep acting like BLM protesters are like, "Well, we're here, we might as blow stuff up." The reality is that it starts off peaceful, then the police decide what's the point of all of this taxpayer bought ordinance if they're not going to use it. That's when protesters say, "If the cops aren't going to obey the law, why should we?" Meanwhile, right wing livestreamers decide that's their time to shine and cause some trouble.
Are BLM protesters 100% peaceful? No. But there are plenty of videos of newspeople, including foreign press, identifying themselves and being clearly marked and the immediate police response is to beat the tar out of them. A response that doesn't seem to happen when Unite the Right protested.
