Today me and my nonna just finished making fresh homemade ricotta ravioli. My nonna has taught me the art and how to role out pasta the old way (with the giant / long rolling pin). It is something that I plan to continue and teach my kids one day.
The biggest scam restaurants pull on people is making you think that you can’t not make stuff like that at home. For one homemade pasta is just far superior that even the best store bought dried pasta and two you rarely hear what the most important ingredient to anything that you are making and that is love. Don’t believe the hype cooking great food is not that hard. Also buy whole wheat berries and mill them yourself, your pasta and breads will be so much flavorful and have more nutritional value.
