Bullshit!! Burning down your own fucking city doesnt benefit your cause at all! If Chauvin gets off this shit is going to happen all over again! Who will suffer most? The black community! George Floyd died and the resulting riots caused the death of 40 + more black people.
Defund: give more resources to mental health professionals. The police in my town WISH they had their on-call clinician at the station 7-days a week, opposed to the 2-3 days she is there. Police working with mental health clinicians in the commonwealth of Massachusetts saved the taxpayers $400k one year.
The thing is they aren't really talking about the other side of the story like how alot of the time they tell the people hours ahead to leave the area and if they dont force will be used or how about in some places it's a every night occurrence and the police are just doing the same thing to the same people over and over again. It doesn't necessarily make it right but actually protesting peacefully is a good thing but rioting is not and it affects the society around you for years
You know what will pretty much eliminate this issue? Removal of all firearms
