  1. This is something that I am yearning to share and I wanted to do it under a recently posted video so more people could see:

I am a university student from Sri Lanka and I've just completed my second year in 're faculty of science. I just received an email that I've been selected into the Chemistry honours degree program. If you don't know what that is, at the end of the first two years they select the top few students for the honors program in every subject. It's a great achievement and everyone competes hard to be in that list. It was a big dream of mine too and I'm just elated. What I want to say the most is how incredibly helpful God has been to me on this journey. I could write an exhaustive list of the miracles He performed that helped me get to this point. A profound one of them is how I never had to sit for an exam on the Sabbath. Being from a Buddhist country, you can imagine how indifferent people here are towards other faiths. You wouldn't expect them to grant the request to take the holy day of a Christian into consideration when making the exam timetable. Yet, they did. Believe me, it was tough to convince them at first. But everything turned out well by none other than Gods grace. One time, an exam was scheduled on Saturday, despite me telling them beforehand. When I went to talk to them about it, they very harshly told me that they couldn't do anything about it. I thought all hope was gone. But the lecturer in charge of that subject, went out of her way to arrange for me to do the exam, and that's not like them to do something like that for a student. They usually couldn't care less. But I ended up doing that exam Saturday night in her office. She stayed with me till I was done. This is just one of the many miracles that God wrought for me throughout this period of two years. From my safety (hazing/ragging is pretty brutal here) to the Sabbath, everything was taken care of. Things did get tough, but I always managed to make it through. And now here I am. I wanted to share this because I know we could sometimes feel that things are going downhill and that God may not be with us. But trust me, He is. And one day you'll be able to look back and see how His hand was always in the situation. I want to encourage you to put God first no matter what. It doesn't matter what challenges or people you are faced with. Never compromise. Especially when it comes to the Sabbath. It doesn't matter what you gain in this life if you don't have Heaven. I don't want the highlight of this to be my achievement. The world may not even last long enough for me to get the job it offers me. I want to assure people from this small testimony of mine that God keeps His promises. He will bring you through the storms of life. Just never let go of His hand.
"…behold, I am with you always, to the end of the world" – Matthew 28:20
