Recently went on a trip to LA and honestly it’s probably as horrifying as most of the comments and the video makes it out to be. Now I do think that on my recent trip tents weren’t everywhere but it’s not much better. You still see homeless everywhere. One thing that creeped me out was seeing a homeless crouch right next to a vendor in skid row. It felt odd to see a city that didn’t care for its downtown. The smell of smoke on Venice beach and the people sleeping made it an uncomfortable experience. Only places that were good to see were places like Catalina island, Universal Studios, Malibu, basically places that had their shit together and didn’t allow for any kind of homeless to scare away people. But even then you still saw homeless traveling to and from these places, be it people sleeping in their car, a tent, people roaming around, or them face planted on the floor. Felt like the hood everywhere but even then it felt like it was worse
