Freakin term limits!!!!
The issue is minorities don't feel safe with the current structure. There is no accountability with the police department. Internal investigation and the law protects officers where they have the ability to operate above the law. That is the issue . Until that's addressed , call for restructuring and defunding will continue.
Cops are robbing the neighborhood to fund themselves. Making ticket quotas, making stuff up. Courts are throwing people who can't pay in jail. Corrupt companies benefit from putting nonviolent folks in prison.
