I sortof look at it this way. In the beginning God told Adam and Eve to not eat of the fruit of one tree particularly. However, Satan manipulated the word God gave and twisted it to deceive them and it worked because the desire to sin and have something they were forbidden to have was more than the desire of truth/ the WORD. In the same way God gave the commandments to show what sin was. Without it they would not have been held responsible for their sin but with it they were. In the same way with Adam and Eve. Jesus did come to take the place of that sin, However, if we truly believe in him then our hearts will be filled with that same spirit and the spirit causes us to grieve when we go against God's plan and hurt our body/ his body now. The commandments are not the same as the law and if you study the word of God there is enough evidence to prove that without argument . Please don't rely on just one verse to be your proof. Pray and ask God for guidance and seek his truth not from people but from God. May God reveal truth to those who seek it for good and not evil. Amen In the end times in Revelations 14;13 Here is the patience of the saints, here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. wow, if the commandments were not important then why is it mentioned at the return of Christ? Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirt, that they may rest from their labors, AND THEIR WORKS FOLLOW THEM . apparently ,, these things do matter. do not be fooled.
I'm glad to see this duo format back. I like this much better and missed it when Jean-Pierre was not on. Interesting study for 4Q 2020. Will be watching the special event and advertising it around my complex.
