What he's talking about when he says they can only go beyond Earth orbit for now is because we don't have any payload rockets that can get us be on there anymore we were destined to the shuttle so there wouldn't be any f**** ability to go beyond Earth orbit because we don't have payload rockets capable of taking us beyond that . Those are called Saturn v rockets and their massive and they don't have any of the capable of achieving that anymore because the people who know how to do it are dead already and the yahoos they've got at JPL and at NASA don't think outside of the concept of unmanned space flight when they think of outside Earth orbit missions the space shuttles were not capable of going outside the Earth's orbit because they weren't designed to they're little more than space planes they're not designed to travel into deep space on there own they require what now say it with me a payload delivery rocket the size of the Saturn 5 rocket that doesn't exist anymore y because it wasn't one company that built it was 250,000 contractors from over 1,500 separate companies most of which do not exist anymore that pulled together under limited budget note: for the time it was the biggest budget for the space program that it ever was to receive for 10 rocket's ten modules and the astronauts equipment and how they got through the Van Allen radiation belts was the entire outside of the lunar module was covered in gold foiling two layers thick they wrapped it around every component on the exterior of the lunar module and even with what they had the astronauts still experience the Van Allen belts their experiences of it were described as they could close their eyes and see bright flashes of light in their vision for up to Several hours jeez u people are nuts
