Since the beginning of civilization, dolls have been beloved by children, cherished by collectors and used in religious rites as conduits for both good… and evil. Well, that’s what the Conjuring Movie Universe would have you believe anyway. And sure, why not? The Assyrians once believed that a person could be harmed by manipulating effigies in archaic rituals, whilst the Egyptians held to the notion that a person could be cursed by writing magic symbols upon sculptures made of wax, mud and limestone. So it’s not totally out of left field that the Conjuring’s Annabelle – a creepy, god forsaken porcelain nightmare if I ever saw one, was conceived.

"Risk their lives" how many people are killed by demonic spirits a year? I had no idea what a dangerous job a shadow hunters was. I ain't afraid of no ghost! My girl calls me boo all the time.
I call bull shit on the doll either way just some people looking for attention and Ed and Lorain wanted to steal that attention you could bring them a haunted napkin and I believe they would cosign that note claiming that what you had on your hands was the most demonic handkerchief ever created. And the cloth was woven from a Salomon witches panties that she got from the devil himself in the late 16 hundreds.

Yeah the Annabelle movie design never made sense to me just cause that it looks so creepy that obviously no one would buy but for what other reason everyone likes in these movies what this doll which takes away the believable somewhat realist in my option.
i think the real annabelle doll being soft is the scariest part of it all. she's not supposed to stand on her own
