I think the death of Jesus was the worst one in the Bible, crucifixion was the cruelest way to die, don't just take my word for it, look it up online and read about what someone goes through when crucified
The medium was working with demons who knew what Saul was doing. Demons aren't stupid, they see what is happening and tell each other. They deceived Saul into staying away from God. God would not use demonic methods. It clearly states all throughout the Bible that when we die we sleep until the 1st or 2nd resurrections at or following Jesus' 2nd coming.
God had stopped communicating with Saul therefore wouldn't have communicated via a demonic way instead of just saying it directly to him. God does not trick us into doing demonic things. This is a hugely gross misunderstanding and teaching of Gods character.
