Somewhat right Mike… The US couldn't give a care about HK because Americans have their own damn civil rights issues to deal with within their own country. The CCP took advantage of America's moment of weakness to snatch HK since they knew America would look really really bad in telling the CCP to simmer down while mass protests about systemic racism was running rampant in it's own backyard. Anyone who thinks Covid was the distraction is brainwashed. America has by far been one of the if not the worse countries in handling the pandemic.. Let's call a spade a spade!
