I had the same problem with meat and now I have self control and don't want it.
Adam Adam, you draw out true measures and judgments regarding the witnesses and writtings of Paul, if you did the same for your doctrins regarding the worlds of creation, your humility would be near perfect before Him: for no one can come to the truth by untruth, or they enter in as a thief. There is one who holds the scroll, it is He who measures the hearts of men correctly, and knows who will be as the rebellious goats that fall in the wilderness. He desires mercy not sacrifice, that our mercy be an acceptable offering, laid out before His Temple made without hands: the living image, which for Him self as a living El, He did make. I know your works and your struggles, and by His great mercy, the son of man was given authority to forgive sins. So know then while we where all still imperfect, He showed us great mercy, that His glory which dwelt in the mist and in the fire, did make His self manifest in the womb, to redeem and instruct His servant: for He stood in the mist of the cloud at the entrance of the meeting tent, and did at times speak face to face with the man of Elohim. The lamb who was slain before the foundation of the world, was conceived before all creation, and was that by which the image of Adam was formed from the dust and clay. This is the light which was in the beginning, before the sun moon and stars. You know this to be truth, for the Ruach has lead you to know this. That is the Son of Elohim, His Elect one, the Son of woman, who soujoured in the House of David, whom you know by many titles. Adam, your sins are forgiven, be restored, that you stumble not over the word to come. Give such mercy freely: for no one can look upon His image with contempt, or treat it impiously, without transgression of the whole law and prophets. This is why our King said, do good even for those who do evil to you, that you be sons of your Father in Heaven. Make the way strait, bank up bank up, remove the rocks from the road.

During the exodus the people would gather twice as much on the day before Shabbat, Preparation day. An example of how we are expected to act I suspect.
