Trump set the stage for this election when he undermined the validity of the system early in the year. It allowed him to retain POTUS if he won & gave him an excuse when he lost. Instead of bolstering the infrastructure for what was sure to be a high mail-in voting election due to the pandemic he chose to bitch about it. Oregon & other states have great success with all mail-in voting. The same could hold true for other states. Trump wanted an election he could contest in the event he lost. Sensing defeat, he failed to prepare. We had an unusual, but fair election, but it's not what he wanted.
Why don't they allow voting online? Answer: more people would vote. That would be disastrous to the Republican Party! While there will always be hard-right & hard-left leaning voters, the majority of Americans are center-left. This is the whole reason for voter suppression, gerrymandering, etc. The Electoral College gives less populous states a "handicap" compared to the population centers of the U.S. Also, making Election Day a National Holiday (as many developed countries have done) is a great idea but, again, more people would vote & that is against the interests of the GOP.

Its called cheat by mail . its why the u.s has never done it until now. Why cause the communist on both sides dont like trump.
Am I the only one that is looking back at this several months later, and can see the doubt these guys had about the election being legit ?
