All 10 Commandments are fulfilled in Jesus…..not in us trying to keep them! Nope! Jesus spiritually keeps all 10 therefore God no longer deals with us based on the law! He deals only based on Jesus…..because God the Father gave all authority over the church to His Son, God can not deal with us based on the law anymore……that's what He meant in Jeremiah 31:31…visa vi the indwelling of the Holy Spirit….not the tables of stone
Love is the spiritual fulfillment or reality therefore quit breaking up God's Law into 10 Commandments!
Only need 2 now…..Agape God and agape your neighbor…..can not Agape without the Holy Spirit folks….the 10 Commandments exposed what sin is to condemn us….absolutely 100 percent! We are not under the 10 Commandments because we have been redeemed, saved, through our Lord Jesus the Savior….you guys don't believe, so you resort backward and because you don't truly believe you will die in your sins! Stop hilighting the 10 Commandments! Start believing you're already saved! You say you believe and have accepted Jesus as your Lord & Savior but then turn around and want to insult Him and try to help Him! You're speaking out of both sides and you will die condemned sinners! You literally do not truly believe….accepting Jesus means you realize you're a helpless & hopeless sinner drowning and in desperate need of a Savior! Jesus saves, the 10 Commandments condemn and produce death! 2 Corinthians 3
Once you jump into a swimming pool, do you then spray yourselves with a hose to get wet? Or hope it rains?
Stop playing games! Recognize God's goodness now and walk in His grace now! He saves us from sin's dominion! He alone and therefore I can't do one thing nor can you to add to who I am in Jesus! Trying to keep the 10 Commandments is in vain when Jesus already paid our debt in full at the cross! We are under the law of Christ as New Covenant, Holy Ghost filled believers! Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of your flesh Paul said
You don't believe in Jesus! If you truly believed then God the Father accepts you unconditionally
I agree with 90% of what Doug is saying here…….however, based on Jesus breaking the 4th Commandment, His Apostles plucking heads of grain on the Sabbath Day based on the Old Covenant only with Moses, and the Priests continuously profaning the Sabbath yet guiltless, we can easily surmise that Sabbath keeping isn't in God's law! It absolutely had nothing to do with sin! It was the Commandment that was the SIGN of that specific Covenant through Moses. Now that Jesus is Lord even of the Sabbath, we can not be under the 4th Commandment nor the Commandments written on 2 tables of stone anymore.
I agree, we don't sin because of the goodness of God and His grace alone lest any man should boast.
The whole premise is the Old proved man can not keep God's moral law of love…..it can only be God’s grace period!
We are absolutely grafted into the vine by faith in Jesus Christ
Again, Jesus is Lord. Because He became Lord when He passed the same test Adam & Eve failed, we do not nor are we required nowhere in the New Testament to keep the Sabbath, Saturday holy…because Jesus is Lord now. He's never going to give Satan back any dominion. Therefore Saturday is no longer a binding Commandment
It was a sign given to Israel until the Lord came and now we all have God's original 7th Day in Gen 2! You are trying to remove the spiritual fulfillment in Christ and you're actually cursing the Sabbath by trying to keep the letter through the flesh…..you're still stuck between law and grace! We don't keep the Sabbath Day holy because perfection has already been attained in Messiah…. therefore God's Holy 7th Day will never be broken because of Jesus!
Technically Jesus was not even under the law……..ha! No, He's the fulfillment of the law…..when Jesus spoke not one jot or tittle, He wasn't being literal! That's how a Rabbi would teach! Jesus was expounding on HE is the spiritual reality of all the Torah God gave through Moses
The Law all of it is spiritually fulfilled in Christ…..which is the only fulfillment God requires!
If one man could be it's total fulfillment then we can not be under it but we are now married to Jesus not the law!
