Not being critical, but Jesus' death was not "one of the worst deaths" it was the worst death that anyone could imagine. Only God could go through what He did for a lost and dying world.
They beat him until his insides shown through. They ripped the meat off his body with the "cat of nine tails" which is a whip with glass sewn into the leather fabric. He was unregognizable as a human being and struggled to carry the cross, thats when someone was appointed to help him carry it. He was tormented all day and all night before his cruficition. They pulled out His beard by the roots. They drove the crown of throns into His head. The throns were well over an inch long. They spat on him. They drove nails through His hands and feet and then watched Him as finally after much more suffering on the cross, He surrendered to death. Read Isa.53. Also read Psa. 22, This is a prophetic psalm, which depics Jesus death.
