I'm a California native who moved to TX for a job opportunity. I made a lot more in Texas and it went so much farther I could buy a house. I left after a year. I've been to every state but two and all over the world, and Texas represents the most willfully…willfully ignorant people I've ever met. I found Texas to be pretty much mouth-breathing, knuckle-draggers, with a bible in one hand and a shotgun in the other. There is no diversity in Texas to speak of. As expensive as California is, I wouldn't live anywhere else in the country but Northern California.

Crime in Los Angeles County is a nightmare right now, and adding to that nightmare is District Attorney George Gasc贸n, who seems to place the interests of criminals above the interests of decent people who are trying to lead productive lives. I was a city councilman in Los Angeles County for nearly ten years and spent a lot of time focused on how to make the community safer. In my educated opinion, the most important thing that we can do is to vote Gasc贸n out of office and replace him with someone who wants to be a prosecutor, has the skills to be a prosecutor, and who can effectively rebuild the ranks of the DA's office, which Gasc贸n鈥檚 policies have gutted. Fortunately, there is an ongoing race for the office of District Attorney, and a gentleman by the name of Eric Siddall has a great chance to unseat Gasc贸n. Eric has been a prosecutor in the DA鈥檚 office for 16 years and currently prosecutes crimes against police officers (Gasc贸n has never tried a criminal case in his life). Prior to joining the race, Eric was also the Vice President of the Association of Deputy District Attorneys for ten years.
