As a civil engineering expert/PMK, I’ve see many other fields with bogus science. It boils down to Practice should govern over Theory. “You know the tree by it’s fruit”. However, there are too many people relying on the theory and speaking about things they don’t know anything about. The theory is often seriously flawed.
For example, Stormwater quality and most environmental science is not well supported. In my view, Drainage or Climate Modeling should be limited to a risk analysis, not a prediction tool.
Yeahhhhh, no cash bail. Look at the crime wave in New York City. And California is on fire.
These guys are amazing. I did a couple months because I couldn’t afford a lawyer for a non bodily Injury domestic violence charge. It’s pretty strange how they scare the hell out of you with maximum sentences and how you never really have a voice through most of the process. I thought jail was going to be bad but it pales in comparison to trying to get a decent job. And it isn’t even a felony conviction, but it’s labeled as a boomer crime and that’s a no no for a lot of businesses.
