1844 is a birth of a cult…What doug is saying here is utter rubbish….. there is no ongoing atoning work in this very imaginative sanctuary picture with jesus on his hands & knees cleaning…. Christ said on the cross "IT IS FINISHED" (john 19 vs. 28) & sitting on the right hand of the father.
