Its like as a kid watchi g the price is right, and when some old person would get super excited when they would win a washing machine, I was like WTF!? Now im in my mid 40s and watch those old shows im like, thats a legit good prize!….we could do with a new washing machine 😂
I'm 28 and if I had the perspective, knowledge, awareness and sense that I have now when I was 14, I would've graduated at the top of my high school class instead of just barely getting by. Time is the ultimate teacher and aging is a lesson in and of itself. Don't look back on your younger self with regret, just be content with what you have learned and keep acquiring wisdom as you go through life.
I've been asked if I could go back in time and do it all over again….would I? Im 41 now. Without the knowledge I have now. just live it again. I had a great childhood. My momma and daddy where great. They provided and loved me in the most extreme way. Would I wanna go back and do it again………without one second hesitation I say no. Its such a weird thing. I don't have bad things back then…….I guess I just realize it was done. Neither Good nor bad it was just done. Im also scared of playing the lottery. Some do. If I won more money for life it would ruin me and change me into a terrible person. People nagging me for a handout. I think the most happiest people go through life working and good day, getting payed a fairs day wage, and being content with what they have. I own a home outright, own my vehicles. Theres such a fine line on too much to ruin you and where you feel like "I'm good"……The American dream is in the eye of the beholder. I just think….in my eyes Im there.
