The account in Luke was prophetic. Lazarus was really physically raised from death by Jesus. The rich man was High Priest Caiaphas because the purple he ware was the ephod outer garment of the High Priest. Caiaphas’ five brothers were his five brothers-in-laws of Caiaphas who were the sons of former High Priest Annas ben Seth.
Each one of the five brothers were High Priests after Caiaphas to 66 AD and the last insurrection of Israel. The man who Luke wrote his Gospel and Book of Acts to was Theophilus who was son of Annas and High Priest 37-41 AD under the reign of Caligula 37-41 AD.
