Yes! I read somewhere that one rule said a person can't travel more than a mile on the sabbath. So they got around that by saying, carry a handful of soil in their pocket so it wasn't a travel sin. Sad! Sad! What a person will do to pretend to excuse themselves from sin or call another than themselves as a sinner
I am watching this today, 2/25/22–I watch from my hospital bed at home while crocheting scarves for the homeless. I am enjoying your presentation. I crochet not because it is work, but because it gives me joy, and keeps my fingers busy.
Also wanted you to know our USPS allegedly stopped mail delivery on Sundays–however–I know for a fact we have SDA mail persons, because there are times when we do not receive our mail on Saturday–instead it comes on Sunday. This has been happening more regularly since the Pandemic. I, for one, do not mind at all. I pray for him/her all the time. Our local USPO in Gresham is much more flexible with their employees, and this is wonderful, and a blessing. PRAISE the LORD.
Thanks for the lesson!! I am a fellow SDA believer, since May 2008! Saved at age 9. I am 59 years old. Finally found the right church! Called out of the "Sunday worship system" and the rest of my family, including my father followed me. Praise Jesus.
All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." — Galatians 3:10-11
