I now realize Joey makes up a lot of his stories
You can tell when Joey is making things up. This story or at least parts of it is definitely made up.
I remember seeing an interview where he was saying that he keeps it real by working dirty bars and clubs and telling Tom Segura that you can’t forget your roots.
Now he’s saying he was forced to work dirty bars because he was a criminal.
