According to the Bible, the post-Flood Nephilim came from other Nephilim (not angels)! FYTube

Prominent Nephilim scholars such as Dr. Chuck Missler, L.A. Marzulli, Steve Quayle, Doug Hamp and a whole lot of others believe and teach the concept of “multiple incursions” – that angels came back again and mated with women after the Flood. They say that’s what the “and also after that” of Genesis 6:4 means. There are at least two problems with this idea:

1) Genesis 6 is entirely in a PRE-Flood context and
2) there is not one single verse in the cannon of Scripture, or even in the supporting extra-Biblical, Hebrew texts that could confirm their ideas.

Scripture says you need at least two witnesses to establish a truth. Where is the second witness in Scripture for the idea of another incursion? It does not exist. It’s a fantasy that didn’t even show up until G.H. Pember put forth the idea, which was later parroted by Dr. I.D.E. Thomas and those who followed.

So, how then did the giants return after the Flood? There’s no need to figure anything out. Moses tells us quite clearly. The text is plain as can be. All we need to do is believe what it says.

  1. Avid Reader: I just recognized Trev. He's part of a Wiccan tag team who travels with some poster named Katrina (last name is something European). No point in struggling with them.

  2. In Genesis 9 it says the following. Gen 9:21-25 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken, and he uncovered himself in his tent. And Ham the father of Canaan saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren outside. And Shem and Japheth took the upper garment and both laid it upon their shoulders, and went backwards, and covered the nakedness of their father. And their faces were turned away, that they saw not their father's nakedness. And Noah awoke from his wine, and learned what his youngest son had done to him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; Let him be a bondman of bondmen to his brethren.

Also in Lev 18:8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness. Lev 20:11 And a man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall certainly be put to death; their blood is upon them.

It would make sense that Noah would curse the offspring of this prohibited, possibly forced (rape) and incestuous (assuming it was his mother) union. This would also explain why Noah both curses Canaan and calls him the brethren of Shem and Japheth. They would be both his uncles and his half brothers (same mother)

It could be that Noah's sons were all genetically ok because they did not get nephilim genes passed on from their mother but through the mother the relationship with Ham resulted in a child that displayed Nephilim characteristics which is why Noah cursed him.

I was thinking Noah may have had other children, more sons possibly and some daughters, but why were they not on the ark? Does anyone know for sure that the text states or implies that he only had 3 sons and no daughters?

Another possible scenarios (less likely I think) is that Ham slept with Noah's second wife and she wasn't genetically pure, as were all the others on the ark. This wouldn't be a problem as Noah wouldn't be producing any more offspring, so only when his son slept with her would this be a problem.

    What do others think?

  3. Wonderful presentation. While I love Chuck Missler and L. A., it seems difficult to argue with the case you make. Thank you for diligently searching the scriptures and sharing your hard work with us Rob!
