I think what's brilliant in the Barbie movie is that they left space for open interpretation: you can say the movie was – what I call – extreme feminism supporting, but on the other hand it also pointed out that when only barbies/women were ruling Barbieland, it was also fucked up, and it was also patriarchy, but with women ruling. (and men were bitching about it much less, although they were just as hurt inside) So one way of interpreting the movie (and probably the most positive and constructive way) is to look at it as they were pointing out that it's not good if only one of the sexes got all the power. And I think everyone with a rational mind can agree with that.
