If they ban citizens from driving gas cars, they better ban companies building batteries from using gasoline to produce those batteries

Fuel is finite. It won’t last forever and reusable is a pipe dream.
They will be. But in the future. I think the grid already supports a full transition to EV. Everyone uses electric every year and the amount that is used is insane. Its absouelty insane. Even Coal and gas plants run on that samw power. We just need to fully tranisiton in order to overhaul like the manufacuring plants (automakers) so they stop producing engines and wasting energy on it. And just deticate themselves to EV.
